Where we bring the bar
Merch Troop is based in Orange County. Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego are home turf with no travel charge. Las Vegas and nationwide programmes travel with lead time.
A jersey bar is a physical thing that has to arrive somewhere, plug into something, and stand up for six hours. That makes geography less about distance and more about what happens at the specific address. A venue twelve minutes from our shop with a two-block walk from the nearest legal parking is a harder job than one two hours away with a loading dock. We plan around the address, not the mileage.
What follows is a city-by-city account of what actually differs. The station itself does not change: a counter facing the room, blanks in adult XS through 3XL, tablet intake with about nine characters of name and a one-to-three-digit number, tickets dispatched to the press lane with the least pending work, and full-colour transfers applied with a heat press. What changes is load-in, power, weather and the kind of room you are likely to be booking.

Studios, private estates, warehouse venues and rooftop parties. The densest calendar we work and the trickiest load-ins.
LA jersey bars →Orange County
Home base. Backyard parties, country clubs, hotel ballrooms and corporate campuses, usually with the shortest lead time we can offer.
OC jersey bars →San Diego
Beach venues, hotel lawns and stadium-adjacent watch parties. Sun, wind and salt air all get planned for.

Convention halls, hotel ballrooms and hospitality suites, with the loading dock rules that come with them.
Las Vegas jersey bars →Travel, plainly
Travel is $0 inside Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego. Outside that radius it is $900, which covers getting crew and equipment to the venue and back. Las Vegas and longer-haul nationwide programmes are quoted individually — the driver there is freight and schedule rather than the crew itself, so lead time matters more than distance.
What we ask about any venue
- Power. How close is accessible power to the footprint? This is the most common late surprise on outdoor events anywhere.
- Load-in. Service corridor, freight lift, loading dock, or across a lawn? Union rules or a dock schedule change our arrival time significantly.
- Footprint. Dimensions and where the queue can form without crossing a service route or a fire lane.
- Cover. Outdoors, is there shade for the crew and the presses? Full sun on asphalt is workable and needs planning.
Lead time by region
Inside Orange County we can move fastest, because there is no freight leg and the equipment does not travel overnight before your event. Los Angeles and San Diego are close behind. Las Vegas needs more runway, mostly for dock scheduling and freight rather than crew availability. Everywhere else, call earlier than feels necessary.
The constraint that geography does not solve is blank sourcing. If we are ordering jerseys in a full size curve, that has its own timeline no matter how close you are. Clients supplying their own garments have dramatically more flexibility on dates, which is worth saying out loud if your event is soon.
Nationwide
We do travel beyond the Southwest for programmes with enough lead time. Merch Troop crews have run live merch stations for Riot Games, Sony, Coca-Cola, Hyundai and Dickies, and a multi-city programme is a scheduling and freight conversation more than a capability one. If your event is out of region, call early rather than late and we will tell you honestly whether the date works.
